Ceridwen, Celtic Goddess of the Moon and of knowledge, poetry and transformation is the representative chosen by Chiara Battistini of Agriturismo Casa Vallona for her “Nectar of the Gods”.
Mead, made from the fermentation of honey, is the oldest known alcoholic drink, which became part of the history of the Bolognese area thanks to the Celts, in the Iron Age.
It is in this magical vision, of tradition and myth, of rediscovery and knowledge, of care and valorization of traditions, the essence of Casa Vallona, that I was inspired in the creation of this illustration which I hope conveys all its values.
